Why we exist
Technical consultancy has a reputation problem, and it is largely earned. Too much of it produces a document that is read once, praised politely, and filed. The recommendation is generic because the diagnosis was shallow, and the diagnosis was shallow because it was cheaper to produce that way.
We built AQS to work the other way round. We spend the time on the diagnosis, we talk to the people actually doing the work, and we write recommendations specific enough to be wrong. A recommendation that cannot be wrong is not telling you anything.
That approach does not suit every engagement, and it is not the cheapest way to buy a report. It is, however, the only way we know to produce advice that changes what happens on the ground.

Independence
We do not resell hardware, software, or certification. Nothing in our recommendation is influenced by what we would earn if you took it.
Transfer, not dependency
A good engagement ends. We document what we build and train the people who will run it, so the capability stays with you.
Evidence over assertion
Every recommendation carries its reasoning and its assumptions. If the basis is weak, we say so rather than dressing it up.
Practicality
A control nobody follows is not a control. We design for the operation you actually have, including its constraints and its habits.
